Bayview Hunters Point Small Business Empowerment Grant Program
Empowering Local Entrepreneurs, Building Community
Powered by The Providence Foundation
Why This Program?
Small businesses are the lifeblood of Bayview Hunters Point, driving economic growth, preserving community identity, and inspiring future generations. Yet, entrepreneurs in this area often face challenges that hinder their ability to thrive and grow. The Bayview Hunters Point
Small Business Empowerment Grant Program, powered by The Providence Foundation, is designed to bridge these gaps—supporting small businesses in launching, maintaining, and expanding their operations.
By investing in local businesses, we aim to:
- Create jobs and stimulate local economic growth.
- Address community needs by supporting businesses that offer essential services.
- Build generational wealth and inspire future entrepreneurs, especially youth who see themselves reflected in business leaders from their community.
What This Program Achieves
- Economic Empowerment: Strengthening the local economy through small business growth.
- Community Preservation: Helping businesses meet unique community needs and maintain Bayview Hunters Point’s cultural identity.
- Job Creation: Supporting businesses that hire locally and promote workforce development.
- Generational Inspiration: Showing young people what is possible by uplifting entrepreneurs who reflect the diversity and resilience of Bayview Hunters Point.
