In early April, Robyn, the new Case Manager Supervisor for the Providence Foundation’s Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) Program, made a meaningful breakthrough for families experiencing food insecurity in District 10. Recognizing an urgent need among four EHV households, she personally connected each family to the District 10 Community Market—ensuring they were successfully enrolled and immediately able to access free monthly groceries tailored to their household size.
The District 10 Community Market partnership helps families stay housed by reducing financial stress and ensuring consistent access to groceries. It also strengthens trust and engagement, showing clients that Providence is committed to their long‑term stability, not just their housing placement.
